El perello
The nearest village is El Perelló, less than a 10-minute drive from here. It is a lovely little village where many people from the surrounding fincas come together. You can do your shopping there and on Saturdays there is a cosy market. The coffee & cheesecake at Híbrid are delicious! It's wonderful to stroll through this village.
L'ametlla
The charming fishing village of L'Ametlla de Mar is perhaps the most touristy spot around here. And no wonder, because besides a few beautiful beaches, you can also enjoy wonderful food and shopping there. Check out the beautiful murals, shop for the tastiest wine from the Penedès, Terra Alta or Priorat, and enjoy the tranquilo Spanish way of life on one of the many terraces.
L'ampolla
L'Ampolla is a village with a large (yacht) harbour and therefore attracts a different kind of crowd. Here too there are two beautiful village beaches where you can swim well, and along the harbour there is a boulevard with plenty of cafés. On the north side there are terraces with a lovely view over the sea, and if you walk a bit further along the coast, you'll quickly reach secluded beaches. Also great fun for climbing around with children!
Platja de Cap Roig & Bar Peppe
Cap Roig has a fine sandy beach and a sea that slopes down very gradually. Perfect when you have children with you. Right next to it is Bar Pepe, where you have a gorgeous view over the bay — and where you can eat very well too.
Bohemia
Bohemia is our go-to place when we want to swim and chill. It's a very laid-back spot by the beach where you can enjoy good food or simply sit back and enjoy the music. The place has become famous far and wide in the region for its weekend parties
La subhasta de L'Estany
Similar yet quite different is the beach at l'Estany. L'Estany is an inlet of the sea where you can look for little crabs, swim peacefully, and it's perfect for children who love jumping off a high quay wall. There's a little beach bar where you can enjoy good food, and at weekends (usually on Sundays) you can enjoy a DJ or a band on the beach.
